My Damn Day
So I knew something was off today. When I got out the car I put my phone in my purse. When I got to the office... Phone was gone!!!! :-O Yeah... So I get on line and track it... The shit is on the other side of town. Its wild how tech. things are... It gave me street by street dir. to where my phone was.... So I was going to ride on them fools and flip out. But I figured if they needed a 1/2 ass phone that works when it wants to work that bad... They can have it. I ordered me a iPhone a few days ago anyway. So I just wiped everything off the phone (this new school tech... is HOT!) and I'm going to let them have it. I mean if you need something bad enough to steal it... willing to get fucked up over a phone... Then you mos def need it more then i... I'm still pissed though. Getting by without my phone isn't that bad. I hate me and KB missed each other at the studio though. Phones do have their use...
Then I head to my work out w/ Killer Keith. Which I looked forward to alllll day to work off some of this stress... And we get to bumping heads. He worked me to I was dizzy! I honestly think if we could both shake each other and it not turn to a fight we would have...

Ruff Neck
So me and KB never hide that we come real on the show. But our most interesting convo's come up when we are just having friend time. I told him I may could be ready to go ahead and PG up someone again. I've been single since 2008 and PG-less since 2010. It maybe time to step someone up to the spot. A Million Hoodies Strong!
So I told you guys I was down for the million hoodie movement check me out.
#JusticeForTrayvon #CanILive ( I had to take it back to the classic Jay-Z quote. I feel it is the perfect fit for this situation.) It crazy how Zimmerman is still out and about living his life, probably plotting his next nigger to kill (yes the ER... NIGGER). Kim Kardashian gets hit w/ a bag of flour and the world comes to the end. The SWAT team sweeps in and that bitch still alive.... Trayvon is DEAD and his MURDER!!! Is still walking around... In real life... This is the world we live in.
And its sad.
But the positive side, is how everyone is coming together. Showing support to the Martin family. Standing up for what's right. I know some may not think putting on your hoodie and posting the pic will change anything. But what if the protesters who started the sit-in's thought that way. What if the people who got up and marched on Washington that way? Change would have never came! And I'm certainly going to do my part to correct this injustice! If that means posting a pic with me in my hoodie then thats what I'm going to do!

I do what I can when I do it you see... lol Major s/o to my glam team. Era keeps my hair on point and my face beat!!! I'm not a make-up wearer at all. I stop at lip gloss but Era keeps me from looking like Hatchet Face from Cry baby. Thats not a good look...

I was and am so upset about this boy being shot its not even funny.

On February 26, our son Trayvon Martin was shot and killed as he walked to a family member's home from a convenience store where he had just bought some candy. He was only 17 years-old.
Trayvon's killer, George Zimmerman, admitted to police that he shot Trayvon in the chest. Zimmerman, the community's self appointed "neighborhood watch leader," called the police to report a suspicious person when he saw Travyon, a young black man, walking from the store. But Zimmerman still hasn't been charged for murdering our son.
Trayvon was our hero. At the age 9, Trayvon pulled his father from a burning kitchen, saving his life. He loved sports and horseback riding. At only 17 he had a bright future ahead of him with dreams of attending college and becoming an aviation mechanic. Now that’s all gone.
When Zimmerman reported Trayvon to the police, they told him not to confront him. But he did anyway. All we know about what happened next is that our 17 year-old son, who was completely unarmed, was shot and killed.
It's been nearly two weeks and the Sanford Police have refused to arrest George Zimmerman. In their public statements, they even go so far as to stand up for the killer - saying he's "a college grad" who took a class in criminal justice.
Please join us in calling on Norman Wolfinger, Florida's 18th District State's Attorney, to investigate my son's murder and prosecute George Zimmerman for the shooting and killing of Trayvon Martin."

All Types Of Niggadom
Yesterday was just one of those days for me. Someone que the Monica!
Still working like 50 something hour weeks... So you know that means Saturdays. I was in a training with this guy on Friday. We sat beside each other and was bugging out. (O yeah I will tell you until I'm making a comfortable living off the radio, and they dish out some benefits I'm going to keep the 9-5! I have a shoe addiction. And I'm not about to crawl up to my moms asking her for a 20 spot so I can get my next fix lol.) But I notice pretty much right away... This kat looks like my X-Husband.... And acts like him, him the Pre-AssHoleStrangerDangerBitch years! But I go back to my seat and think nothing of it. But by the time I seat down, kat has already hit me up on the I.M. In real life..... So on Saturday he hits me up again... And starts to ask me about movies... I told him the last movie I saw. And was told "That's depressing" (Nobody knows about my Empress life.... So I just let him go on) He following that up with.. "I'm going to deliver you from your realm of nothingness.." Direct quote... This mere moment let me know the type of day I was in for!!! O you already know I clutched my pearls!!!! So after that I had to shoot some promo vids with KB for The Fleet Conf coming up in July. But I was suppose to be going to ALT with my homies J. Cole AKA ColeWorldNoSnuggy and DH for Jacoles BDay. but thanks to my allergies I knew that wouldn't happen too fast. Took a chick out the game pretty much. I will be fine for a few hours... But then the CRASH!!!! :-( All BAD! But me and KB find this nice chill place right... This is our recording spot for now on!!! But we got all types of thrown off in this little spot. Just started to kick back and chill. Had some beers and hit the hookah and had some friend time. Me and KB been friends going on like 12 years. And now that we do the show together, sometimes we run out of time in a day just to catch up on friend shit.... We come 100% real on the show. But we don't tell all our business. Some ish we just have to have friend time for. When we drop some of these videos. So while we are chewing the fat... I get my homegirl all types of lost!! But it all came together. And we had a ball in the time we did get to hang. Now I tell folk.. yes folk... Random moments of foolishness just happens to me... Like I be stuck all up in all types of Niggadom!!!! ALL TYPES I SAY!!! But after I was late getting to the spot due to Niggadom Moment #1 which was following behind a truck in a one lane... Noway out street!!! Whose idea of giving someone a tow was bumping the car in front of its bumper every time it stopped.... Yeah I thought you may think I was making this greatness up... Nope not at all... Seeeeeeeee How in the hell did I tape it w/ no sound is beyond me. But this is what I will call Niggadom... O but wait it gets better. Because when me and the girls were leaving the spot... We ran into a man who informs us he's a stripper... O how I wish I would have got the start of this. But he put his stripper dance on hold long enough for me to pull out the cam. OJOY!!!! Yeah I had to tip him..... I've been to a many of strip club, and they just don't bring it like he brought it!!! Did you not see the arm hanging in mid air... Did you not see the quality of poppin and lockin he was doing.... This is so not your everyday!!! Then I hit up Mr. D Chiz BDay surprise BDay had a ball....... until my allergy meds wore off... Hard Work Pays Off
Its very true... hard work does pay off. But being over worked will burn you out! I'm on the edge of being overworked. I missed my studio session. I just knew it was tomorrow. This is of no good!!! Now I'm going to be spreading myself extra thin through out this week to try and recover the session i missed today! Its going to be a long week I can already tell. I know some people be on that whole I will sleep when I'm dead... The grind don't sleep shit. NOPE! EJ sleeps! I sleep I nap! I gets my rest. Let me not get rest and well hmmmmm.... release.... I wouldn't have a team any more... Talk about a cranky BITCH!!! (I know me... No need to sugar coat it!) I wouldn't want to be around me!!!
I spent this most wonderful day IN BED! after I left the J-O it was a wrap for me! I just wanted that QT w/ my pillow (We have a love thing going on!)

You know I have to take a minute out to show respect to one of my favorite rappers ever Notorious B.I.G. Man every time I listen to a Biggie track it takes me back to high school!!!! I remember so many moments that has happen while a big track!!! SMH.... I'll NEVER TELL!!!!!

CIAA 2012
Another crazy CIAA weekend :-) I got to see Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh talk about a dream come true!!! I felt like a kid in grade school again!! I even got to take a picture with Slick Rick! My mom even came out to the show. It was chill. I got some footage from the show!

Trying something different w/ my nails. I got the gel put on my nails so they can stop breaking every three mins. Its so hard to text when your thumb nail breaks! That pisses me off!!! And I'm rocking my fav ring. About to get a new cust. joint made. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Thinking about getting KB something too. We shall see.
I rarely VERY rarely get star struck! But come on Slick Rick!!!!! I use to have the biggest crush on him when I was coming up! And he took the time to take this pic just for me. I feel all types of important! Should have gave him a #BangnatBand a bitch was slipping!

So today oddly is the first real day I felt the weight of being the H.B.I.C.
The people on my team know I'm pretty laid back. And I honestly just float along. But I never understood how much I needed help, until I got help. You see, I was a team of two and three for so long.... Me and Ozy have been in business together for something like six or seven years now. And people have come, saying they could do this, or that they could do that. But always fell short... Or fell off... I honestly can't recall the names, or the whereabouts of none of them! Last year I decided to hire a PR rep. And it was something I didn't have to put any thought into. I picked LEE. We went to college together and oddly we were the only two people who heard the funniest line known to man, outside a club! (SMH) But I watched the work he did with my graphic designer and my homie whose a photographer we also went to school with. I was very impressed. So picking him with nothing. The more we worked together, the more I saw how smoothly things can run when you have the right team at the right time. He brings ideas and suggestions to the table I promise I would have NEVER thought of!!!! He is one of the few people who knows how to break things down to the point where I will understand them. And also can make me bend to a compromise even when I'm ready to toss the towel in. (Yes I have those days! More then a lot of people would think. Not toss the towel in on the things I have going on. Just some of the things we are adding. Everyone who knows me knows I take five shots of FUCK IT! Every morning! I'm fast to say I don't have to deal with this shit. And just doing me. But working with Ralph has helped me grow! I'm learning to deal w/ situations I would have normally walked away from! And he's honestly saved many a motherfunker a proper EJ curse out!!!! I love having someone that can be the bad guy for me.... Now when I curse someone out its just for fun. Not because I'm going to have to put my foot up someone's butt for not doing something!
I honestly have an amazing team!!!! Major s/o going to KB we have been friends for so freaking long I think we going on 12 years now. And he has had my back from the jump! Forever being 100% supportive. And believing in the vision!
And Ozy Reigns whose been down for me for a good number of years! Always pushing me to do beyond my best. :-) And of course to the guys who keep the visuals popping (KB helps out with this at times) But my web designer Jacques of All Trades LLC!!! And of course my web designer whose been with me since 2001!!!! And I'm not going nowhere!!!! 101 LLC all day! He has skills too! He's been putting out a new cartoon here's a little clip

New Phone
So needless to say I've been over T-Mobile from the day I switched! So now the time has come for me to pick a new phone. I've been looking into this for a while now.
